Day care centres – Anbu Solai

- Chief Minister launched day care centres for senior citizens, called Anbu Solai (Garden of Love), on November 10, 2025, in Trichy.
- It aims to promote the well-being of the elderly, especially those from working-class families.
- A total of 25 centres have been established across Tamil Nadu under the Department of Social Welfare and Women Empowerment.
- The centres will offer facilities such as indoor games, physiotherapy, handicraft training, tiffin, and lunch.
- In the first phase, two centres each have been set up in 10 municipal corporations, and three in Greater Chennai at Sholinganallur, Tondiarpet, and Virugambakkam.
