- Himachal Pradesh launched the 'My Deed' NGDRS (National Generic Document Registration System) pilot project to modernise land registration.
- The system allows online property registration, requiring citizens to visit the tehsil offices only once for the final steps.
- The pilot has also been implemented in 10 tehsils across 10 districts, including Bilaspur Sadar, Dalhousie, Bhuntar, and Rajgarh.
- The very Key digital reforms include a new Jamabandi format in simple Hindi, e-Roznamcha Vakyati (the digital Patwari diary), and Kaarguzari (the online work reporting).
- The state aims to implement ‘Khangi Takseem’ in mission mode, moving toward a ‘Single Khata, Single Owner’ model to reduce disputes in joint land ownership.
