- Asia remained the leading source of migrant health professionals, with India, China, the Philippines, and Germany as top contributors.
- India emerged as the top origin country for new migrants to OECD nations in 2023, with nearly 600,000 Indians migrating.
- It is an 8% rise from the previous year.
- India was also among the top countries of origin for asylum seekers in OECD nations in 2024.
