National Education Day 2025 - November 11

This day is to mark the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Minister of Education of independent India.
The day aims to honour contributions to India’s education system and promote awareness about the importance of learning for national development.
The theme for 2025 is “AI and Education – Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation.”
Maulana Abul Kalam Azad contributed to establishing major institutions such as the University Grants Commission (UGC), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
