- It promotes access to justice for everyone, especially for those who are poor or socially disadvantaged.
- Between 2022 and 2025, more than 44 lakh people received free legal assistance through the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
- The theme for 2025 is “Justice for All: Through the Lens of Legal Aid.”
