  • Prime Minister released a 100 coin and a commemorative postage stamp at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) centenary celebration.
  • The 100 coin features Bharat Mata in Varad Mudra, a lion, and swayamsevaks paying respect; the national emblem appears on the reverse side.
  • The coin bears the Sangh’s guiding motto: “Rashtraya Swaha, Idam Rashtraya, Idam Na Mama.”

  • The RSS was founded on Vijayadashami day in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar at Nagpur.
  • The RSS’s Panch Parivartan (five changes) framework aims to address current challenges like social harmony, environmental protection, and safeguarding national unity.
