The National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) reported 3,798 deaths between 2018 and 2022 due to heat and sun strokes.
These 11 states are Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan.
