3rd ANTF Conference

The 3rd national conference of chiefs of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) is being held in New Delhi.
The two-day conference is organised by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and focuses on the Vision Document on Narcotics Control (2026–29).
ANTFs are specialised units of States and Union Territories that coordinate action against narcotics offences.
The conference covers drug trafficking networks, demand reduction, rehabilitation, synthetic drugs, illicit cultivation, darknet and cryptocurrency investigations.
The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985 is the main law governing narcotics control in India.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) was established in 1986 as India’s central drug law enforcement agency.
