  • This technology is developed under the framework of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
  • The feature aims to simplify banking for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
  • IPPB operates under the Department of Posts and plans to implement this system across about 165,000 post offices and 300,000 postal workers.
