The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has very recently launched the Accelerating Innovative Monitoring for the Nature Restoration (AIM4NatuRe) initiative.
This initiative is funded by GBP 7 million from the United Kingdom.
It aims to enhance the monitoring and reporting of global ecosystem restoration efforts.
It will support the achievements of Target 2 of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework — restoring at least 30% of the degraded ecosystems by 2030.
