- The Maharashtra CM inaugurated Amravati Airport in Maharashtra.
- It was under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) - UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik).
- He also announced the Flying Training Organisation (FTO) to be established in the Amravati City of Vidarbha.
- It will be the biggest pilot training institute in Southeast Asia.
