  • They have significantly advanced our understanding of the Milky Way's origins.
  • These celestial formations, woven together over 12 billion years ago.
  • They are among the earliest structures to have contributed to the formation of our galaxy.
  • They predating even the oldest parts of the Milky Way's spiral arms and disc.
  • Each stream carries the mass of about 10 million Suns, with stars aged between 12 to 13 billion years, moving in remarkably similar orbits and compositions.
