  • Last year, 41,370 grave violations against children were documented and verified by the United Nations.
  • This is a 25% surge in “grave violations” against the children under the age of 18 from 2023.
  • The United Nations has kept Israel on its “blacklist” of countries committing the abuses against children in armed conflict for a second straight year.
  • It also kept the Russian armed forces and affiliated armed groups on its blacklist for a third year.
  • In Haiti, the UN has put gang, the Viv Ansanm coalition, on the blacklist for the first time.
