- The meeting focused on strengthening defence and security cooperation between ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and India.
- ADMM-Plus included 10 ASEAN members and eight dialogue partners — India, the United States, China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.
- India co-chaired the Experts Working Group on Counter Terrorism with Malaysia for the 2024–2027 cycle.
