It aims to promote Ayurveda as a holistic system for individual and environmental well-being.
The term Ayurveda comes from Sanskrit, where "Ayuh" means life and "Veda" means knowledge or science — together, it translates to “the science of life.”
The first Ayurveda Day was celebrated in 2016.
The theme for 2025 is ‘Ayurveda for People & Planet’.
The 10th edition is being held at the All-India Institute of Ayurveda in Goa.
