- The BRS COPs occur every two years and aim to advance global action on hazardous chemicals and waste management.
- The theme of the event is “Make visible the invisible: sound management of chemicals and wastes”.
- Indian delegation advocated for sound management of chemicals and wastes, access to finance and technology for developing countries, and pushed for action on plastic pollution.
