- India's first Central Tissue Bank was launched at the Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS) in Delhi.
- It will provide tissue and bone grafts directly to patients, removing the need to buy these from external sources.
- Alongside, the Delhi Dental Council (DDC) launched a cashless "V-Office", making it the first state dental council to implement a virtual office system.
