- CoalSETU stands for Coal linkage for Seamless, Efficient & Transparent Utilisation.
- The policy creates a separate window in the Non-Regulated Sector (NRS) Linkage Auction Policy of 2016.
- Coal obtained under this window can be used for own consumption, coal washing, or up to 50% export, but not resale in India.
