- The Tamil Nadu government has formed two committees to revamp the State’s school curriculum.
- A high-level expert committee will be headed by School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi.
- A curriculum design committee will be led by the State Planning Commission member Sultan Ahmed Ismail.
- The committees will redesign the curriculum in line with the Tamil Nadu State Education Policy 2025.
- Members include ISRO Chief V. Narayanan, cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin, and Carnatic vocalist C. Soumya.
- Both committees will function for three years to frame reforms in curriculum, teaching, and assessment.
