- It offers real-time information on blood banks, availability, and donation camps.
- It aims to benefit the people with rare blood types like Bombay, Rh-null, and P-Null by easing access to compatible donors.
- The RDRI was created by ICMR–National Institute of Immunohematology (NIIH) and four partnering institutes.
