India’s electronics exports rose over 47 percent year-on-year in Q1 of the financial year 2026.
Total export value reached 12.4 billion US dollars compared to 8.43 billion US dollars in Q1 financial year 2025.
Mobile phone exports grew 55 percent from 4.9 billion US dollars to 7.6 billion US dollars.
Non-mobile electronics exports increased 37 percent from 3.53 billion US dollars to 4.8 billion US dollars.
Total electronics exports rose from 29.1 billion US dollars in the financial year 2024 to 38.6 billion US dollars in the financial year 2025.
The India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA) expects exports to reach between 46 and 50 billion US dollars by the end of the financial year 2026.
Electronics production in India increased from 31 billion US dollars in the financial year 2015 to 133 billion US dollars in the financial year 2025.
