- The Expert Appraisal Committee has recommended environmental clearance for the 3,097-megawatt Etalin Hydroelectric Project (HEP) in Dibang Valley district, Arunachal Pradesh.
- The project involves building two concrete gravity dams on the Dri and Tangon (Talo) rivers.
- Stage-I Forest clearance was already granted by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change in June 2025.
