- Tamilnadu launched the expanded immunisation services under the Universal Immunisation Program at all 500 functional health and welfare centres.
- All the UIP vaccines would be made available in all HWCs on every Wednesday.
- Such an arrangement is currently available in all the 2,286 Primary Health Centres.
- The state consistently achieved immunisation coverage of over 99% annually.
