- Four districts (Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, Thoothukudi, and Virudhunagar) in Tamil Nadu have been included under the Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana.
- 36 government schemes are being integrated under this project to provide combined benefits to farmers.
- A review meeting was held with the heads of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (Farm Science Centres) from the participating districts.
