  • Detention of women, children, medically unfit individuals, and persons under the influence of alcohol in police stations was strictly discouraged.
  • Mandatory medical examination of all detained persons was recommended, along with follow-up action based on the medical findings.
  • Sufficient police personnel must be assigned to guard any detained individual to ensure their safety in custody.
