- The Andhra Pradesh state government launched the 'Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Vidyarthi Mitra Kits' scheme.
- This scheme is to provide free educational kits to over 35 lakh students in government and aided schools for the 2025–26 academic year.
- Kits include the uniforms, shoes, belts, socks, school bags, textbooks, notebooks, workbooks, and dictionaries.
- This scheme replaces the previous ‘Jagananna Vidya Kanuka’ kits.
