- The Park lies in the Western Ghats at elevations between 1,900 and 2,300 metres and covers over 1,300 hectares.
- Kerala’s 2021 Eco-Restoration Policy prioritises the removal of invasive species, with plans to restore another 600 hectares.
- The project is being studied as a model for tropical montane ecosystem restoration in other regions of the Western Ghats and beyond.
