- Production for 2025–26 is projected at 3708.46 lakh tonnes, showing steady growth in the sector.
- Fruits production rose to 1176.49 lakh tonnes and vegetables to 2177.97 lakh tonnes in 2024–25.
- Major increases were seen in fruits and vegetables like banana, mango, onion, potato and tomato.
- Spices, flowers, and medicinal plants also recorded growth due to improved technology and value chains.
