- Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) and Humane World for Animals India have signed a MoU.
- They will set up India’s first dedicated Animal Birth Control (ABC) training centre in Lucknow.
- The centre will train veterinarians, para-veterinarians, animal handlers and animal welfare organisations.
- It will serve as a national hub for capacity building in street dog sterilisation and related welfare work.
