- India’s first cooperative multi-feed Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant was inaugurated in Kopargaon, Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra.
- The plant is set up at the Maharshi Shankarrao Kolhe Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana.
- This is marked a first for India’s cooperative sugar sector and was supported by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC).
