- Maharashtra is going to set up an Edu City in Navi Mumbai, which will be the country’s first educational campus for foreign universities.
- The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) signed an agreement with the University of York from the UK and Western Australia University.
- These universities will set up their offshore campuses in Navi Mumbai.
