- The 16th India-Japan Annual Summit was held in New Delhi to strengthen the Special Strategic and Global Partnership between the two countries.
- India and Japan agreed on the UNICORN (Unified Complex Radio Antenna) project, their first defence co-development programme, and decided to expand defence, maritime security, and joint military cooperation.
- Both countries adopted agreements on economic security, clean energy, Artificial Intelligence (AI), resilient supply chains, and cooperation in green hydrogen, biogas, and semiconductors.
- They agreed to accelerate the review of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and work towards the ¥10 trillion Japanese investment target in India.
- The two countries reaffirmed cooperation for a Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP), support for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC), the Quad, freedom of navigation, and United Nations Security Council (UNSC) reforms.
