- India’s non-fossil fuel installed capacity rose to 266.78 Gigawatt (GW) in 2025.
- It is a 22.6% increase from 217.62 GW in 2024.
- A total of 49.12 GW of new non-fossil energy capacity was added during the year.
- Solar power capacity increased to 135.81 GW, and wind power capacity reached 54.51 GW in 2025.
- Bioenergy stood at 11.61 GW, small hydro power at 5.16 GW, and large hydro power at 50.91 GW.
