- The ISRO Chairman inaugurated the Ananth Centre of Excellence for Navigation (ACEN) in Thiruvananthapuram.
- ACEN is India’s first private-sector navigation centre, established by Ananth Technologies.
- The centre focuses on indigenous navigation sensors, AI-based navigation fusion, and better use of NavIC (Navigation with Indian Constellation).
- ACEN will carry out MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) of navigation units within India to reduce foreign dependence.
