- INS Sutlej, an Indian Navy hydrographic survey ship, completed a 35,000 square nautical mile survey with the Mauritius Hydrographic Service.
- The survey was conducted under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Mauritius.
- INS Sutlej also carried out joint Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) surveillance and anti-piracy patrols with the Mauritius National Coast Guard.
- This mission marked the 18th joint hydrographic survey and aligns with India’s MAHASAGAR (Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across the Regions) maritime vision.
