- The scheme, run by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, encourages innovation among students of classes 6 to 12.
- Among the top 50 districts in India by nomination count, 22 are from Uttar Pradesh, including Pratapgarh (7,085) and Prayagraj (6,929).
- UP surpassed Rajasthan (1,41,142 nominations) and Karnataka (1,01,656), with a margin of 1.39 lakh and 1.79 lakh nominations, respectively.
