Union Minister of Commerce and Industry launched the Industrial Park Rating System (IPRS) 3.0 in New Delhi.
The system has been developed by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) with support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
IPRS 3.0 aims to assess and benchmark the infrastructure, facilities, and competitiveness of industrial parks across India.
Parks will be categorized as Leaders, Challengers, or Aspirers based on key indicators, including sustainability, logistics, digitalization, and tenant feedback.
The system will help attract investments, generate employment, and support the development of 20 plug-and-play industrial parks under the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC).
