National Space Day honours ISRO’s achievements and India’s rise as a global space power.
The date marks the historic Chandrayaan-3 soft landing on the Moon’s south pole on August 23, 2023.
It was making India as the first nation to reach that region.
The theme of 2025 is “Aryabhatta to Gaganyaan: Ancient Wisdom to Infinite Possibilities”, connecting India’s astronomy heritage to its space future.
