- The Tamil Nadu State Archaeology Department will soon release a book documenting the Karikiyoor rock art site in Kil Kotagiri.
- The announcement was made during the release of another book titled “The Nilgiris Archaeology” in Udhagamandalam.
- It was curated by Yaakai Heritage Trust.
- The new book is part of a four-year documentation project on rock paintings in Tamil Nadu.
- The project records rock art, burial sites, dolmens, hero stones, sculptures and inscriptions across the State.
