Announced in the Union Budget 2026–27, it has an outlay of ₹1,856.67 crore for 2026–2033–34.

Sports Goods Manufacturing Zones (SGMZs) will integrate manufacturers, suppliers, testing facilities and design centres; Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) will also receive support.
