- Tamil Nadu procured a total of 11.21 lakh tonnes of paddy during the 2025-26 ‘kuruvai’ season.
- The state government paid ₹2,709 crore to 1,45,634 farmers for their produce.
- More than 30,000 tonnes of paddy are being procured daily and transported from the Cauvery delta districts to other districts.
- A total of 1,872 direct procurement centres (DPC) were opened across the state for paddy collection.
