- The Military Combat Parachute System (MCPS) of DRDO, was successfully tested at 32,000 feet by Indian Air Force.
- MCPS is the only parachute system in operational use by the Indian Armed Forces that can be deployed above 25,000 feet altitude.
- It features enhanced tactical capabilities such as lower descent rate, superior steering, and accurate navigation using Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC).
