Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulses

Cabinet approved a six-year mission for self-reliance in pulses with a total outlay of ₹11,440 crore.
The target is to produce 350 lakh tonnes of pulses and cover 310 lakh hectares by 2030–31.
100% procurement of tur, urad, and masoor will be done under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) of Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan (PM-AASHA).
A total of 126 lakh quintals of certified seeds and 88 lakh free seed kits will be distributed to farmers.
1000 post-harvest processing units will be established with a subsidy of up to ₹25 lakh per unit.
