- Mission Shakti 5.0 was launched to strengthen women’s safety, dignity, and empowerment in Uttar Pradesh.
- Mission Shakti Centres were launched in all 1,647 police stations across the state, along with SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) manuals and awareness materials.
- Uttar Pradesh has increased the number of women police personnel from 10,000 before 2017 to over 44,000 by 2025.
- From January 2024 to March 2025, 12,271 criminals were convicted in 9,513 cases of crimes against women, including 12 death sentences and 987 life terms.
