MTC Bus First Campaign

The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) in Chennai launched the ‘Bus First’ campaign.
The campaign aims to create awareness among motorists to give priority to MTC buses on the roads.
It is supported by ITDP (Institute for Transportation and Development Policy) and the Greater Chennai Traffic Police.
The campaign promotes respect for public transport and encourages a shift from private vehicles to buses.
Cricketer Thirush Kamini has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the campaign.
