- Prime Minister has launched the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana of Bihar.
- The scheme aimed to empower women by providing seed capital to start self-employment ventures and livelihood activities of their choice.
- ₹10,000 each was directly transferred into the bank accounts of 75 lakh women across Bihar.
- They will get potential additional support up to ₹2 lakh in later phases.
