- The President presented the 50 MY Bharat–National Service Scheme (NSS) Awards 2022–23 at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
- NSS was launched in 1969 and currently has nearly 40 lakh active volunteers working on social, health, and development projects nationwide.
- Priyanus Hazarika (Assam), Ayushi Sinha (Madhya Pradesh), P. Dinesh (Puducherry), and Ankur Kumar Mishra (Uttar Pradesh) were among the 30 youth volunteers recognised for outstanding service.
