The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change organized Wildlife Week 2025 in Dehradun.
The event focused on the theme of ‘human-wildlife coexistence’.
It launched 5 national projects, including Project Dolphin Phase-II, Sloth Bear, Gharial conservation, Centre of Excellence for Human-Wildlife Conflict, and Tiger conflict management outside reserves.
Four national action plans and field guides were released for the population estimation of river dolphins, tigers, snow leopards, and the great Indian bustard.
