- The event focused on the theme of ‘human-wildlife coexistence’.
- It launched 5 national projects, including Project Dolphin Phase-II, Sloth Bear, Gharial conservation, Centre of Excellence for Human-Wildlife Conflict, and Tiger conflict management outside reserves.
- Four national action plans and field guides were released for the population estimation of river dolphins, tigers, snow leopards, and the great Indian bustard.
