- The 4th National Lok Adalat of 2025 successfully resolved 2.59 crore disputes across India.
- From 2022–23 to 2024–25, more than 23.5 crore cases were resolved through various Lok Adalats nationwide.
- Lok Adalats were established under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.
- They provide speedy & cost-effective justice through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
- Lok Adalats aim to reduce case pendency, which stands at over 4.7 crore cases as per the National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG).
- Lok Adalats are organised by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) with the Chief Justice of India (CJI) as Patron-in-Chief.
