- Maharashtra has topped the 6th National Water Awards 2024 in the Best State category.
- Gujarat and Haryana secured second and third positions, respectively.
- This year, 46 winners were selected across ten categories, including Best District, Best Village Panchayat, Best Urban Local Body, and Best Institution.
- The awards will be presented by President Droupadi Murmu in New Delhi on 18 November 2025.
- The award, instituted in 2018, the National Water Awards promote sustainable water management under the ‘Jal Samridh Bharat’ vision.
